Sutton & Epsom U7 Swifts Pre-Festival Photo. The Swifts obviously looking forward to a good days rugby and they where not to be disappointed.
Ollie Orchard just before he puts a beautiful sidestep right, in between two Camberley players in the Swifts opening game in Group B to score a great try.
Konrad O’Neill storming round the Camberley players to score a lovely try with all his team mates in full support. The Swifts went on to beat Camberley convincingly 5-2
One of the Auntie’s thinks she spotted Rod Stewart and starts singing “If you think I’m sexy and you want my body”
In the Swifts second match against the Drifters, Jared Harvey runs straight through 5 of the Drifters players with 4 of his teammates in support. The Swifts eventually beat the Drifters 7-1
Tristan Bartlett scores the first try of the match making sure that Cobham know if they want to win they have to work hard. But no matter how hard Cobham tried the Swifts always came back just as hard and eventually the Swifts beat Cobham 8-7 in what many feel was the match of the Festival.
Luca Criscuolo’s grandparents watching their grandson as they watched their own two sons and who have been supporting grass roots rugby for over 30 years.
After winning Group B undefeated the Swifts play Effingham in the semi final who did not know what him them as Billy Joiner demonstrates with this nearly 60 meter sprint scoring a try.
6.2	James Perriman running towards Effingham’s try line to score his first of two tries of the match with Luca Criscuolo offering strong support and with 3 other Swift team mates closely behind.
7.	James Perriman running in to score his second try of the match, leaving two of the Effingham players wondering where to go or what to do next.
8.	At the start of the second half against Effingham Jared Harvey prepares to pass to Thomas Subley who appears to be saying “We're SMOKING” In the end the Swifts beat Effingham in the semi final 7-2.
Team manager Annmarie Murtagh giving her son Conor some pre-match advice “Calm down, Calm down” as all the children where really excited about reaching the final for a second time in as many weeks.
Obviously feeling the tension little more than the rest of us Nina Criscuolo can’t get her top off.
9.3	In the Final against Dorking Ollie Orchard scores a brilliant try after a Dorking player dropped the ball. Ollie had an excellent day’s rugby and on multiple occasions he was there to pick up the ball after the opposition had dropped the ball to score some of the day’s best tries.
After running more than 30 meters Joe Bell scores this great try.
After beating Dorking U7’s in the final 6-4, Conor Murtagh leads the Swifts, team celebrations and three cheers for Dorking.
Once the Swifts had received the Festival Shield and Gold Medals, Joe Bell, first checks to see if it’s real gold and then gives it a little kiss.
Konrad O’Neill and Billy Joiner just before we pack up for the day look up and say a little thank you.

After the Swifts went up 3 - 2 against Rosslyn Park, they quickly setup a good defensive line prior to the game restarting.
U17s Ladies
Rosslyn Park leaves a gap and Thomas Stubley punishes them for their poor defence scoring a brilliant try with his teammates running behind in support.
U17s Ladies
The players fathers looking on, quietly confident that the Swifts will beat Rosslyn Park, however as the day went on, tension did show occasionally.
U17s Ladies
In the second half against Rosslyn Park, James Perriman puts in a lovely sidestep that totally confuses the opposition defence. The eventual score been 6 – 2 to Sutton & Epsom.
During the Swifts second game against the hosts Cobham U7s, Konrad O’Neill runs towards touch but is tagged just in time.
U8 Champions at the 2004 Camberley Festival
Tristan Bartlet after been tagged sees three team mates in support and quickly realises that Konrad O’Neill is coming at full speed and Tristan presents Konrad with a beautiful pop pass (see the next picture)
After receiving the pass from Tristan, Konrad O’Neill storms through to score an unstoppable try.
Tristan Barlet puts a great sidestep to score a classic try
At half time the Swifts appreciate the chance to have a drink and enjoy a slice of orange as the boys know this is a much tougher game against Cobham
The whole Swifts team, going forward, supporting each other, behind the ball on a counter attack after Cobham quickly scored a try at the beginning of the second half.
At the end of the match, the Swifts giving three cheers and telling Cobham not to forget the Champagne. Finanl score, 3-3
As runners up to Cobham in League A as a result of the Swifts conceding one try more than Cobham in the first two games, the Swifts had to play the winners of League B, Old Reedonians in the Semi Final who had beaten Camberley and Teddington renowned for their successful rugby tradition.
At half time the Swifts are down 2-1 to Old Reedonians and the tension is to much for one mother as she attempts a lineout throw. Nobody informed Barbara that this is the job of a Hooker!!
As Tristan Bartlet starts a run Louis Shiels starts to run alongside in support as does Oliver Orchard who had supported brilliantly all day. Final score 3 - 2 to the Swifts
In the Festival Final the Swifts are up against Cobham again where eventually we lost a very close game 3 – 2. The Swifts obviously where disappointed but very proud to reach the final coming second on the day and rightly so.
The Swifts receiving their Runners Up Medals and Cup from a Harlequins 1st team player.
This picture demonstrates the players attitude all day, even though they are wet, cold, dirty and have only just been beaten in a close game in the final, their faces are a delight when you see the expressions of enjoyment, pride, happiness and just as positive as the first team photo at the beginning of the day.
